My son has started riding his Y-Bike at age 2. At age 3, his grandmother bought him a 2 wheeler with training wheels. He rode it with the training wheels on for about 5 days. One day when the chain acidentally went slack & dropped off I took off the trainers to tighten the chain. I did not put back on the trainers. I just gave him a little push, ran behind him a couple of times and at 3 yrs & 1 month he was riding without training wheels. He did have a couple of bumps, but hey, who didn't learning to ride. Thanks for a great invention !!! I recommend it to all.

I just had to tell you we got an early surprize and received the bike on Thursday....

I was totally shocked to see that the moment I put my son on it, he started riding it and he absolutely loves it!!!!!

He just needs to get a hang off turning with the bike.....

I think this is one of the best toddler items I have ever bought and I will surely spread the word of the YBike.... if I had to describe it in a word it would be 'cool' since it looks good, is easy to ride and makes my little one unique compared to the others riding the other not so cool products....

And my seven year old is having the odd ride.
My husband (who is an engineer) says he likes:

Comfortable seat
Quiet inside and outside the house
Good foot and knee room
Strong, sturdy with good re-inforcement technique Good quality plastics

Im working on an idea to introduce these to schools Here are the comments we have had so far from schools that have them.

1. Love the “balance” aspect. A few children tumbled off the first time they tried the bikes but they are whizzing around on them now!
2. They are strong and sturdier than the usual plastic bikes yet light enough for our Lambs (youngest class) to use and even carry around.
3. Everyone agreed that the bright, fun colours were a plus.
4. They are just the right size for the children.
5. Generally, the children can’t wait to get outside and grab a Ybike! (They even fight over them – which I’m not sure is such a great comment to share.) They simply love them!

i had a £20.00 limit on a birthday present for my 2 year old, I did some research online and came accross this product on your website, and read the reviews, and was convinced! I piurchased a £39 y bike-it has been the best £39 i have ever spent. Actually i think it is very cheap when compared to the quality of the product. somehow i knew that when i purchased the bike i wasn\'t wasting hard earned money. We bought it in October and he is on it everyday. We get so many comments on it. I can not believe how fast he can go on it. I have a 5 year old daughter who wishes she had one-is that the only size and make that the ybike comes in?

Our Pre school opened 18 months ago. 12 months ago we came across Y Bike. The research behind the development of the bike was very impressive, so we decided to purchase 2 bikes from South Africa as they were only available here. We soon realized that two bikes were definitely not enough and we had to get more!

When outside pay time starts, the children (boys and girls) normally run to get to the schools selection of y-bikes first. I don’t think that any day would pass without all the y-bikes being ridden. The children do prefer the y-bikes above their own old style black ones. Besides the look and fun colours of the y-bike, the overall bike experience I think is fun and painless. Ever so often the children had bleeding toes or ankles due tot their feet being nipped by the back wheel of the bike. Now, with the y-bikes we don’t have that problem anymore – more fun less tears.

Having some of the y- bikes for almost a year now, I am pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the bike. The rear wheels are not falling apart like some of the other bikes we also have here and the main body and handles are in good condition considering the high usage of the bike. Any bike lasting more than a year in a school with 73 children, deserves an award!

Last but not least, we have also noticed that toddlers who rides well on the y-bike, are very strong walkers and their balance are also much better than the children who don’t like to ride on the y-bikes. I personally think that all children can benefit from the y-bike especially after seeing a difference in the overall physical development of my outdoor loving bike riders. Well done to the developers of the Y-Bike.

We had just arrived in the UK on a two month break with our two small children. Our two and a half year old has a Y Bike balance bike which we use to take him around on - the beach, mountains, down the shops, everywhere. Some older children using it managed to break it and we were completely lost without it. Up until this month there was nothing similar in the UK to replace it with. We had been in touch with you guys and were ona waiting list for the product. We just got one this week
